The COVID-19 pandemic has required Salon del Sol to raise our standards to an even higher level with new protocols for safety, sanitation and our guest’s wellbeing.

All our staff members have taken the Infection Control Certification through Milady, the premier source for educational materials in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and barbering.  In addition, our stylists have also been certified by Barbicide, a disinfectant solution used by salons to disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces including brushes, combs, scissors and surroundings in a salon environment.  All employees will be wearing mask and/or faceguards at all times.

All Styling areas, shampoo areas, and implements will be disinfected after every guest.  Clean capes and towels are always provided.  All employees are required to have their temperature taken before their shift and will be following strict social distancing within the salon.

Please read the following protocols and guidelines we are requesting from our guests to ensure the safety of our employees and other visiting guests. 

  1. All guests must wear masks throughout appointment.
  2. Please arrive for your appointment on time; use the pocket salon app to check-in or ring the doorbell.  (Reduced occupancy doesn’t allow for a waiting area)
  3. Please arrive to your appointment unaccompanied. (Children under the age of 12 are not permitted without permission).
  4. All guests will be required to sign a COVID-waiver, have their temperature taken, and wash/sanitize their hand upon arrival.
  5. Please limit personal items brought into our premise. We ask that you leave personal items such as coats, sweaters, retail bags, etc. at home or in the car.
  6. Consider DOWNLOADING the POCKET SALON APP by SalonBiz, Salon Software.  This APP will allow guests to check-in, experience a touchless checkout (No lines), rebook in the chair, and purchase products!
  7. Cashless transactions only, including tips.

We love spoiling our guests, which is why it is so hard to say we will not be offering our signature services like beverage service and AVEDA rituals.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate these un-chartered waters.  For now…our new normal.  These times are truly challenging, it will take sacrifices from staff and guests alike.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the COVID-19 reduced occupancy requirements, Salon del Sol will be requiring Credit Card hold for ALL appointments.  Any appointments cancelled within 24-hours will result in 100% of the reserved service amount.  This cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of availability, as well as keeping our schedule filled.
